After all the hungama of the last few days about power transfer in Karnataka, its time for President's rule in Karnataka! Though, it seems like Governor Rameshwar Thakur has taken a decision which is best given the bitter rivalry among the 3 parties -- Congress, BJP and JD-S, what's really unfortunate is the lack of stable political machinery in one of India's fastest growing states. The ability of creating messes by His Highness H.D.Deve Gowda is at show again.
This is also going to be an interesting situation for the management of Karnataka state by the President Prathibha Patil who has been a die-hard loyalist of Indira Gandhi and her proteges. Is is going to be all impartial?
Coalition governments are an accepted norm these days. However, with so much of fragmentation, is it time for some alternative?
Lastly, what is the impact on the booming economing of Karnataka?
